In November 2025, Brazil hosted COP30 in the city of Belém, bringing global climate negotiations into the Amazon. CAMAMAZON is a three-year, British Academy funded collaborative research project following the mobilization of Brazilian youth, Indigenous Peoples, scientists and government to shape COP30 and its social and political legacy.
